Started with the highly recommended turnip green bites. They were great! Everything we had was just as good. Great service and nice atmosphere. Music but not so loud that you couldn't hear your dinner companions.

My coworker and I were looking for a great southern meal and this place did not disappoint! I chose the Mardi Gras’s fish dinner. So Delicious, I could not tell you what he ate. The only thing that could have been better was the peach lemonade cocktail was sour. I added sugar at the table and didn’t really taste any peach. Shame on me for not giving them the chance to correct it.

We were passing through and decided to stop before the storm hit. As soon as we ordered our drinks, the storm hit and the electricity went out. They brought my drink and it was excellent and the cooked our food on their gas powered grill. It was delicious!! It couldn’t have been better with the lights on! We appreciate them still waiting on us and serving with a smile. We give them a 10 out of 10!! Well done!

Traveled from percy quin state park to have lunch and explore area. Food wasn't bad, recommend the fried turnip appetizer. The fried green tomato BLT would have been better with a sauce on the sandwich vs mayo since the green tomato doesn't really add to the sandwich.

Y’all the food was really good and the bartender made me an incredible virgin Bloody Mary. Beware, everything I had was a bit spicy but I loved it that way. Turnip green balls were way better than I imagined. The duck and sausage gumbo was sooo good. I went with the potato salad instead of rice with that and I highly recommend it. My only suggestion would have been a lighter portion in the gumbo. More gumbo. Little less potato salad.

The food here is delicious! We enjoyed it all. I like the esthetics of the place. They have live music. It was great! Our bartender was our server. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and answered all our questions. I would recommend anyone to come and enjoy what they offer.

DELICIOUS!! We would recommend the Turnip Green Bites, Bayou Catfish with corn grits and crayfish cream sauce (containing delicious chunks of crayfish), Duck and Sausage Gumbo, and the GB Donut for dessert (be prepared to share this treat bc its huge)!! This place was so good we ate there twice during our 5-day stay in the area! There was also live music at the bar one night (a lady and her guitar) that added to the atmosphere without taking away from our table conversations. Our waitress was great at refilling our drinks and checking in on us. We will definitely stop out again next time we're in town!

The food was good. My bacon was "floppy" on my BLT, but other than that it was a tasty sandwich. It did take a long time to get our food, but we were not in a huge hurry.
